Someone is always at the board
Dispatch is staffed every hour of every day. A load booked at 2 a.m. is assigned at 2 a.m., not queued for the morning shift. Drivers rotate across shifts so the equipment — and the window — never waits for daylight.
Same-day cutoff is 14:00 for the full radius; after that, it moves first thing, and after-hours work carries no surcharge because for us it isn’t after hours.
At the end of the chain, time is the product
A missed retail delivery window is a rejected load and a redelivery fee. A late medical or parts run stops a line. The freight itself may be ordinary — what the customer is buying is arrival inside a specific hour.
